“What is often overlooked in introductory typography classes is a stress on understanding the anatomy of fundamental elements of typography such as characters, letters, symbols and how they work as a consistent system (even across different scripts). These elements are called "glyphs" in type design terms and this workshop focuses on just that. With its mode of instruction in English/through latin script, we will deconstruct the anatomy of typography and create alternate and custom glyphs through form-making. This workshop is for people who are interested in type design, designing custom typefaces, symbols, icons and even logos.”
