“Everyone has fun, emotional or weird anecdotes about food that they grew up eating or that thing they cooked that one time or that one place where they had the most amazing something. Foodlore is a zine, an unbound collection of things put together to share stories. It may include but is not restricted to photography, poetry and art. This first generation of zines is written, designed and curated by me. Each of the first generation zines revolves around a specific dish or beverage that is close to my heart. You might come across Indian pop culture references. It might also have a recipe disguised in there for you to try. In addition, there will be an empty envelope, that is, a blank zine for you to fill with your stories and send it forward to initiate a sort of cultural exchange or a collaboration even and if not that then just as another fun way of sharing stories!”
